Kenny offers some cheap seats for July 5
Think that tix to big-time concerts are getting out of control? Kenny Chesney wants to reach those folks too for his July 5 show at LP Field.
Kenny’s offering what he’s calling a “Shiftwork section,” so named for his latest single saluting blue-collar shift workers. Those tix will be $29.50, and a spokesman says there will be “a few thousand” of ‘em.
All the tix go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster outlets. Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar, LeAnn Rimes and Gary Allan are all also on the bill.
“We are so busy out on the road, we don’t even get to play Nashville every year,” Kenny said in a statement.
“So when me and the guys get to play at home, we wanna make sure we do it right! It’s a big night for us, and we don’t want anybody to feel excluded, or like this isn’t something they can be a part of.
“People may think I’m crazy, but to me, it’s the only way to let the folks back home know how glad we are to be there, to be hanging out with the people I live with.”
This is an awesome idea. I just hope those tix don’t end up in the hands of those shiftwork scalpers.

Here in Nashville Tennessee, they said to come to this website to inter a contest for the Kenny Chesney concert. I am a big Chesney fan and tried to navigate this website to inter the contest unfortunately I couldnt. A recent breast cancer survivor, I am still trying to manage my pain. I hope to try to do this again. I really would love to see Kenny But unfortunatly can afford even the cheap seats!! Please make your website more navigatable. Thank you
