Lascassas Elementary kids spell w-e-l-l

I got to host the Lascassas Elementary third-grade spelling bee today, and I’ve gotta say, I’m glad I had the answers in front of me. FYI, the word “remnant” can really trip up a kid.

Special surprise celeb: Former Lonestar lead singer Richie McDonald was there to cheer on his third-grader, Mollie. Richie has an inspirational album out in June, a solo country album out this fall.
