Trace Adkins says the Donald can’t claim all the credit

Country singer Trace Adkins finally got around to celebrating his song You’re Gonna Miss This going No. 1 at parties at ASCAP and BMI today.
If you watched The Apprentice, you might remember Donald Trump pretty much taking credit for the song going to the top of country radio charts. Trace thinks that might be taking it a little far.
“Maybe being on television had a little bit to do with it,” Trace told me.
“I don’t know that he can take credit for the song staying No. 1 for three weeks. But he will,” Trace said, laughing.
