New country couple? Chuck Wicks & Julianne Hough?
Wait a second: Chuck Wicks has often said he wrote his breakout single, Stealing Cinderella, about his girlfriend.
Guess what? It’s midnight, Cinderella.
Word is that Chuck and fellow newcomer Julianne Hough, she of Dancing with the Stars fame, maybe be country’s newest (and cutest) couple.
It IS interesting that she showed up Monday night at a GAC taping where Chuck was performing.
And the two are both out on the Brad Paisley tour.
Hmmmm…. So what’s the official word from their peeps?
There is none. So far, anyway.

I was at the taping Monday night, and I have to say that it was the talk of the night at the GAC taping from everyone there. Not to mention Julianne showing up at the Opry when Chuck performed there on July 1st.
So, who knows, but I don’t really think it’s a secret.

Men automatically are attractive to Julianne. Men are going to hit on her because of her personality and is so gorgeous. Helio and Apolo were never her type. You folks are saying mean things because u either want her to be with Apolo or Helio. You want that fairy tale. The chemistry was just on the dance floor, nothing else. Here we go again. And I thought country music and the radio stations that play it were all about the artists and their music, not gossiping about their romances. Sadly, country music radio is no different than the Hollywood gossip mongers that threw Julianne in the mud after DWTS Season 5. Why is it always Julianne’s name? Why is she the ‘homewrecker?’ Why not the guy - oops, my bad - she’s the gorgeous, talented, sweet young woman who loves her fans but who is a much easier target. I am a huge fan of Julianne’s and just want her to be happy and successful.

Previous poster Jeff - totally agree with you - if it is male and breathes, Julianne must be hooking up with it. If she is not ‘dating’ - something has to be made up to gossip about. Frankly, am surprised it took this long for ‘romance rumors’ to start - it is six weeks into the Paisley Party tour.
Still have not figured out why Julianne is always the one doing the ‘using.’ What about those who have used her in the past two years?

Let’s see, in just a little over a year, Julianne has managed to break off her own engagement (at 18 years old), be the cause of Helio’s broken engagement, accepted a very expensive diamond ring from Kevin Connelly and now may be the cause of Chuck Wick’s broken relationship with Heather. And this girl expects to be taken seriously in the Country Music world. OK?

My gosh I’m so tired of her and her fake country twang, so-so vocals and “shomances” as another poster put it. I think she likes to play the innocent party while being flirty with these guys. The next thing you know she will say that he is like a “brother” to her and she just showed up at the taping for support. Julianne is wearing thin on a lot of people. Hair extensions and a fake country accent do not make you a country singer.

Believe me when I tell you that nothing can be further from the truth, that she is dating Chuck Wicks.
This girls name will be drug through the mud, everytime she gets near a male of any kind.
It’s a shame that some DJ had to start this rumor for his 15 minutes. It’s deplorable that Chuck played along with it with the whole “sugar” innuendo and once again, Julianne has to pay the price for being a beautiful, friendly, genuinely sweet, young woman.
And here we thought that the country music scene woulr be different than Hollywood. This girl can not get a break especially from some of the posters above, who were extremely harsh on her.

That’s what some Apolianne diehards are hoping, but there haven’t been any reported sightings of them together. Somehow I don’t believe that Apolo and Julianne are sneaking into each other’s houses just to keep their relationship under the radar.
For all we know, Chuck and Julianne might still be with their respective once-confirmed relationships (he with Heather, she with Zack).

What’s the real shame is that once again it is the girl who is ripped by the public. What about Chuck? He’s supposed to have been in a 4 year relationship, so in love that he wrote a song about her, and now he’s insinuating that Julianne is some kind of tart with his “sugar” comments. It doesn’t matter if he’s still with his girlfriend, single, or is in fact seeing Julianne. His comments were rude and disrespectful towards Julianne and he puts himself in the same category with all the other guys out there who think they are studs. This is a real shame because I used to like Chuck and his music. He just ruined it completely. Brad Paisley would never do something like that.

It seems some of you look at Julianne as the poor innocent victim in all of this. She broke up with Zack to tease and flirt with Apolo, then she broke up Helio’s engagement to tease and flirt with him. She gets back with Zack after leading Helio on and then breaks up with Zack again. Now she breaks up Chuck’s relationship with Heather to tease him. It seems she likes to win the guys affection and then when she gets what she was after (attention from men) she dumps them. She will do the same to Chuck. Frankly, I’ve lost all respect for Chuck. I used to like him, now, not so much.

As always the Helio and Apolo shippers are just upset that their happy ending isn’t comming true. So they do what they do best and that’s attack Julianne. It doesn’t matter that Julianne has repeated it over and over that she never dated either one and that she was just good friends with them. Helio is the one who was all over Julianne and he’s the one who broke off his engagememt. As for Apolo they both have remained very close friends. To me that says a lot. If Julianne is dating Chuck Wicks then I am very HAPPY for the both of them. They would make an Awesome couple. I have always been a fan of Julianne’s and will always be her fan. No matter what you shippers say….Julianne is a sweet, beautiful, kind and extremly talented girl. Not only all of that she is also a very hard working too. Sara, sorry sweetheart, but you’re the shipper on the Apolo train. Did you not watch DWTS Season 5? Julianne was all over Helio like a girl in heat. She kissed him, she jumped in his arms. He was not trying to be all over her. In fact, it looked as though he couldn’t get away fast enough. He kept pushing her off of him. How do you know that she and Apolo are close. You guys talk? If Julianne is dating Chuck Wicks, good for her. Every girl needs to find some happiness, even with a guy who recently broke up with his long time love. Anyway, I’m here to address the Helio haters. Why do you condemn him for breaking his engagement while on DWTS, but find it sweet that Julianne broke her engagement with Zack, supposedly to be with Apolo. And why is it okay that Chuck breaks up with Heather while on tour with Julianne AND then starts dating her. What did Helio do differently than Chuck and Julianne? Seems to me these are the same scenarios with different people. Anyway, I don’t give a rats patoot who dates, hangs on to, kisses, hugs or whatever. If the girl’s got game, more power to her.

I think people are just plain over her trying to be the next big thing in Nashville and playing the maybe I’m dating him maybe I’m not game. She is a cute and a talented dancer who sings “ok.” I saw her live this summer and was not impressed. I’ve been in honkey tonks in Nashville where bar singers vocals would blow her away. Her hokey songs about trucks, county boys named Billy Ray and other country cliches are insulting. Don’t get me started on that ridiculous fake accent either.

The girl’s got the right to date, but she doesn’t have the right to steal. If she was flirting with the boy while he was still with his girl, just to win him away from her, then she is wrong in doing so, but if he was already breaking up with her for other reasons, then no harm done. I would hate to think that Julianne wasn’t so innocent.

I used to be a huge fan of Julianne’s but that accent is the worst. Everyone knows she is not from the south so why the fake country accent? Just sing and talk in your normal voice!
Also why does she give all these interviews and say that she is this innocent virgin? There is no way in the world with all these people she has been involved with that she is not putting out. Kevin Connely isn’t going to buy a diamond ring for a random friend. I don’t care if she is or not but why lie about it. It’s true. A/J shippers emailed the DJ to tell him how dare he suggest that Julianne would even think of dating anyone other than their precious Apolo. The DJ responded that he doesn’t have time to deal with obviously crazy shippers. Good for him!

Julianne just admitted in an interview that she was never romantically involved with Apolo or Helio. She said she was in a relationship all the seasons she was on DWTS. Even after she broke off her engagement with Zack, there were still together as gf\bf. She was seen at the Indy 500 with Zack in May of this year riding in the pace car. They were also together with family\friends on vacation the end of May.
Chuck and Julianne alluded to the fact they were flirting when he interviewed her for GAC before the Brad Paisley tour. People think both Heather and Zack were caught off guard by the hook up. Heather and Zack both had songs on their myspaces indicating they weren’t happy with their exes.

Julianne gave an interview to Atlanta Peach saying she was in a relationship the whole time she was on DWTS. Chuck and Julianne were recently interviewed by a radio station K102 by the DJ JD Greene. Chuck said Julianne was chasing him back when he interviewed her for GAC. (You know he has a real dry sense of humor.) He said they had been dating for a while. The GAC interview was before the tour had started. I’m not sure of an exact date, it was when they and Jewel showed their tour buses.

If you followed Julianne’s career beginning with DWTS, you would know that in her radio and televison interviews she mentioned that although she and Zack postponed their engagement, they were still dating, however, in other interviews she gave during Season 5 of DWTS, she confirmed briefly dating Kevin Connelly of Entourage. If she was still with Zack that whole time, why was she dating and photographed at a party with Kevin. After that, in all her interviews she constantly stated that she was single.On her cousins blog, it was posted privately that she and Zack got back together in December. She wanted to keep that under wraps and continued to say she was single while dragging Zack everywhere she went. Now dating Chuck, she seems to want to rub Heather’s nose in it by going all over the media to say she’s been dating Chuck since May. Now she’s saying that she didn’t say she was a virgin, when she actually did on several occassions. I guess she’s letting everyone know that she’s lost her virginity to Chuck or letting Chuck know he can have her.
People just don’t think that Heather and Zack were caught off guard, they know it. He was with Heather through June and she with Zack through May. Both felt betrayed and yes, made sure it was made clear on the respective Myspace profiles.
And yes, she was never involved romantically with Apolo or Helio and that is probably the only truth she speaks. IMO, both she and Chuck are cheaters.

I don’t believe Julianne “dragged” Zack anywhere. We don’t know all the details about Julianne and Zack’s relationship which I understand can make the very public announcement between Chuck and Julianne make us want to scratch our heads. IMO, she and Zack took things back from engagement to bf\gf, then like Zack said in the Spring were dating but not exclusively. They seem to have taken the time they needed to understand whatever they decided.
Zack didn’t go anywhere he wasn’t invited and how does anyone know whether he was the one who wouldn’t commit to her as a boyfriend after they supposedly got back together last winter\spring?
Even if Zack was deciding they should go in separate directions, he may have been surprised by how soon she appears to have been with Chuck.

Julainne just said in a radio interview today that she and Chuck had been dating a long time before anyone caught on. Rumors about the two of them dating started mid July. So if Julianne was with Zack until the first of June and there are reports that Heather was at one of Chuck’s shows in June, hopefully a long time to them means around a month (first of June to when rumors started mid July).
My sympathies to their exes. It can’t be easy. Heather was well liked by country fans. I especially feel for Zack because first he was mistreated by the Apolo\Julianne shippers because they didn’t want to accept he was her boyfriend. Then this on top of it.
My respect for both of the exes increases with everything I read.
