Very cool. BTW, I spotted Jessica Simpson about 2 weeks ago driving a silver Audi convertible on Franklin Road in Brentwood.

Who cares? She’ll never be country. I’m tired of all these rock wannabees switching to country when they can’t make it any other way. I’ve heard the song. There’s nothing country about it.

Jessica Simpson is the next Faith Hill. You mark my words. She even kinda looks like her. She’s been in movies, TV, pop and now country. She’s a real superstar. All I can say is Nick Lachey is really missing out.

I had the good fortune of interviewing Jessica recently. I also listened to the music (that which was available). I’ll have to tell you that she’s darned talented and is also pretty darned nice. So, that’s my report from out here in the mean streets of nashville.

I hope she finally finds her audience in country music.
However, I can’t help but get the impression that she’s more interested in not letting Tony Romo out of her sites that being in Nashville and promoting her cd.

Hotness needs to have their head examined. Jessica will never in a million years be a Faith Hill. Faith is a superstar. Jessica may have some success in country but right now she’s just a tabloid celebrity with flop movies and semi-success in pop music. Her talent lies in her apparrel lines. She dabbles in so much that she doesn’t give every project the time it deserves.
The cd cover is ho hum, the video is ho hum, the first single is ho hum. Nothing to write home about. Her fans from 5 yrs ago are wow’d because they finally have something new but thats about it. I don’t believe she is winning over that many new fans.

Yeah, Jessica is seen around here in Nashville all the time. LOVE her and I can’t wait to get her cd! I also saw Jessica twice during CMA Fest this year….great gal! I know she’s going to do well!

I saw her last night on a rerun of “That 70’s Show”.
I have to admit I’m kinda starting to understand what the nay-sayers are talking about.
Bottomline… all the best to her in country music. Just the same, all the best to all the others out there trying to break in. I’m sure alot of these amazing talents schlubbing for tips in bars and just trying to get someone to listen would LOVE the luxury of traveling the world with a superstar athlete and occasionally touch base with Music Row whenever.
I suppose in Nashville, one sees country music and all that it entails a little differently from the casual fan who occasionally visits. Just saying…

There Jessica goes again in Elle magazine talking so personally about the way she and Tony pray before they go to bed together. I pretty much thought she and Tony had the whole don’t talk about my private life thing worked out. I honestly don’t see how he puts up with her. Now she’s got leaked web cam video of her stripping for Tony while he is at camp. Tony needs to run from this girl and not look back. She had footage on Hard Knocks that was removed. Good move Jerry Jones after the Boo’s, the Elle, and the Webcam all the Cowboys need is another pink jersey season. Keep her away from the Cowboys name. Its only gonna get worse as Sept 9th approaches. Wonder why they chose a 9/9 release date. One more way to use Tony.

Only 4000 people came to her concert. Many of those came for free because they were doing a “buy one get one free” campaign with her concert and the tickets were reduced to start with. On the other hand, the next night Carrie Underwood sold 12,000 tickets for a much higher price than Jessica’s. There’s writing on the wall and it doesn’t look good for Jessica. Sadly, I don’t know if she can read it.

I don’t think she cares. She certainly doesn’t care that her maybe boyfriend is calling Carrie on his knees begging her to take him back all the time. She
has very little self-respect for herself.
