Julianne Hough: Chuck Wicks has danced into my heart
Julianne Hough confirms to People.com that she is indeed dating fellow country newcomer Chuck Wicks (Stealing Cinderella), which this very Web site reported a month ago. (I am soooooo bragadocious.)
“He’s just a great guy! He’s awesome and really, really talented,” Julianne told the mag. “I’m having a great time getting to know him.”
The two are both on the road as opening acts for Brad Paisley.
“It’s very difficult to date – I just got kind of lucky!” she said.
Julianne soon will have a new man in her life. She left Tuesday to find out who her partner will be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
Julianne says she’s sure that she and Chuck can survive being apart.
“That’s what’s cool about being with an independent person.”

I was surprised when I heard that she told People. But hey, they do make a cute couple. What is it though, about tourmates hooking up? First Jennifer Nettles ends up with Kenny Chesney’s guitar player, and now Julianne and Chuck. Must be something in the water. LOL, but again, Julianne and Chuck are a cute couple.

Oh please. Chuck was still with Heather at the CMFest in June. He betrayed her by cheating. Is that anyway for a gentleman to act? And as for you, Hotness, 30 year old men have been around the block. How long do you think he’s going to hold out for a virgin. Unless she’s willing to give it up soon, he will go sniffing around elsewhere.

Sounds like he’s done this before so I’m certain he’ll do it again. He’s just trying to score a pretty young thing. Coming from a guy, it always seems like the grass is greener on the other side. This won’t last too long. He’ll be back with his ex or someone new. No one wants a little giggly girl who’s barely out of her teens.

I just heard an interview where Chuck told the DJs that Julianne had basically “stalked” him, followed him around, and continued to pursue him even after he told her to leave him alone. I couldn’t stop thinking about how lame it was for a 30-year old guy to blame a young girl for HIS straying (even in a joking matter). Really now Chuck. You just couldn’t resist big bad Julianne so you had no choice but to hook up with her and cheat on your steady girlfriend. And I have some swamp land that you might want to buy. Please!! It looks to me like Julianne thinks that “marrying” into the country music family will give her some credibility and help the fans remember her while she is doing her little dancing show. Chuck looks like a guy that has traded his long time girlfriend in for a newer & younger version. It seems to me that these two are perfect for each other – but will the fans buy what they are selling?? I wouldn’t count on it since the country music fans are very smart and they can smell a phony a mile away. Who do they think they are trying to fool??
I know that he was joking but somehow with the rumors that have plagued Julianne in the past about breaking up her dance partner’s relationship, I think this type of joking is in very poor taste and totally disrespectful to Julianne. But the best part is when the DJ asked him how long they had been dating, Chuck said “IT’S BEEN A WHILE”. What?!?! How can that be if he was still seen publicly with Heather at some of the shows in June/July?? That is practically an admission that this whole relationship started BEFORE Chuck had broken up with his gf. Who exactly are Chuck and Julianne trying to fool?? I know that country fans are very forgiving and understanding but they are not stupid. They value artists that are genuine and real people who don’t try to deceive their fans. Right now Chuck and Julianne don’t fall into either one of these categories.

Hey, neither of them is married; and lots of people have more than one girlfriend or boyfriend — what exactly do country fans need to “forgive”? Chuck Wicks is incredibly lucky (and opportunistic); Julianne Hough is the most desirable woman on the planet. If he’s smart, he’ll put a ring on her finger QUICK! Not that that guarantees anything, though — she’s already broken off at least one engagement!

Of course a man would think that as long as your not married that it’s ok to cheat. Yes, Julianne maybe every guys dream, but for what, a night in the sack? There is more to a woman than just looks. All she’s got going for her is her looks and that will fade in time. She’s not very smart. Have you heard her interviews. All she does is giggle. How much of that is a 29 year old man going to take. She makes a habit of busting up other peoples’ relationships and it seems Chuck is a serial dater. They are both losers. And if you think country fans are ok with cheaters, then I guess I’m the minority.

Julianne really needs to show more sensitivity to both of the exes involved here since I have no doubt that she will soon be in that same category herself. Wonder how she will feel to have it broadcast all over the media and splashed in People magazine when Chuck decides that the benefits that he might be getting in exposure are no longer worth the trouble of dealing with a silly little giggling girl who goes after anything in pants. And you know that he will because once a cheater, always a cheater. Julianne has said she likes to be the MAN in the relationship – so what does that make Chuck?? Actually, when you think of it, Julianne & Chuck are perfect for each other because they are both trying to scam the fans. But they better be careful because country music fans can tell a phony when they see one and right now we are seeing TWO!
