Billy Ray Cyrus’ son is getting pretty famous too, ya know

Do you know that super catchy pop song Shake It?

You know: “Shake, shake, shake shake ah shake it!”

The group is Metro Station and it is fronted by a well-tattooed Trace Cyrus, son of Billy Ray Cyrus and sister of Miley Cyrus.

Billy Ray is offering a nod to his rocker son in Billy Ray’s latest video, for the new single, Somebody Said a Prayer. The video was shot Sunday in California, and that’s where this picture comes from.

Billy Ray’s album, Back to Tennessee, coming out later this year. The video will be out in a few weeks.

I am a long time fan of Billy Ray’s and I have watched both Trace and Miley grow from young children to very talented young adults. They both traveled with Billy Ray every summer. I remember one year at a BRC show, Trace was working as a stage hand and Billy Ray told the audience that Trace was thinking of quiting school and join the band. BR asked our opinion and the audience as a whole hollered “No Trace”. Way to go Trace, we are all so proud of you and of all of your accomplishments.

Patsy I remember a time like that. Glad Trace has now went on to establish himself as a darn good musician. I am so proud of him and Miley. They are both so very talented

This video sounds like it will be very interesting and I can’t wait to see it. That is cool that Trace will be in the video. I love the song “Shake It” by Metro Station, and Trace does a great job singing it. I am really looking forward to seeing the video for “Somebody Said A Prayer.” Talent definitely runs in the Cyrus family.
