Trace Adkins to sing anthem at the GOP convention

So you’ve seen John Rich do lots of GOP cheerleading lately.
Move over, dude. About two more feet of man is a’ comin’.
Trace Adkins is set to sing the national anthem on the closing night of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., his publicist just announced.
Trace is well known for being a political conservative. In fact, he might be more conservative that the GOP at this point.
Trace told the New York Daily News earlier this year:
“I’ve always voted Republican, but I’m fed up with the Republican Party. If there were a viable third party, I’d seriously consider joining it.”
