Bocephus is Washington bound: Sen. Hank Williams Jr.?
by Brad on Oct.30, 2008, under Country music, Politics
(EXCLUSIVE) You’ve seen Hank Williams Jr. with Gov. Sarah Palin lots lately. In fact, Bocephus has been on 10 campaign stops for the GOP ticket — and the guy only does about 20 paid gigs a year.
“I’m quite motivated, cousin,” Hank told me Thursday night.
How motivated?
“You might be looking at the next senator from Tennessee, if this keeps up,” Bocephus barked. “And I AIN’T kidding!”
Hmmmmm. No, Hank hasn’t formed any sort of exploratory committees or a campaign headquarters.
But he has phoned former Sens. Bill Frist and Fred Thompson lately. Bocephus might be more serious than you think.
There’s a straight talk express that would crash right into political correctness, right? Thoughts and feelings?
Turns out Hank is already bringing folks together. He put his “rebel son”, Kid Rock, on the phone with Gov. Palin during Monday Night Football earlier this week.
Turns out Gov. Palin’s kids were huge fans, shrieking on the phone.
“They were, ‘Oh God!’ You know? It was funny. It was really funny,” Hank told me.

I think if Hank were to become the senator, it could very well be the best person ever to represent Tn in Washington.
Most people just think of JR as an entertainer. Let me tell you, he is a VERY intellegent person, self taught, and would fight for the people of the great state of Tennessee.
Regardless of our personal past differences,my vote goes to Hank!! GO BO!!
By the way, let’s stop referring to Kid Rock as his Rebel Son..JR has TWO SONS!! PERIOD!!

i don’t know why ya’ll are sop negative about it, if hank becomes the senator of tennessee then that’d be a hell of a blessing to our country considerin the guy we just elected president, and theres no shame in calling kid rock hank’s rebel son.
