Michael Peterson lands a rare Bob Hope USO medal
Mazel tov to country singer Michael Peterson (Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie), who got a big medal for performing for the troops.
Michael got the Bob Hope “Spirit of Hope” award, and that’s even Bob Hope’s granddaughter in the picture.
The USO started giving out these awards 11 years ago, and they only give out one a year, if that.
Past winners: CBS newsanchor Walter Cronkite, the Country Music Association and former astronaut John Glenn.
Peterson got the medal recently in Washington. He then proceeded to drink, swear, steal and lie to celebrate. OK, maybe only two of the four….
