Forget the Grammys, the CMA and ACM trophies, her recent first-ever Entertainer of the Year nomination.

Carrie Underwood has scored the big one, people! She’s singing the new American Idol kiss-off song.

Her song, a remake of Mötley Crüe’s Home Sweet Home, will be played when they play the season review for the Idol contestant who gets the boot.

Carrie’s song joins Daniel Powter’s Bad Day, Chris Daughtry’s Home and Ruben Studdard’s re-make of Kenny LogginsCelebrate Me Home.

Carrie’s version of Home Sweet Home is going to be sold as a ditigal single, and part of that money is going to The Humane Society of the United States.
