So Bryan Adams (Summer of ‘69) probably could’ve done a CMT Crossroads show with most any country artist he wanted. Why Jason Aldean?

“The right hat,” Bryan said, smiling. “It basically came down to the hat. Ironically, Jason’s head is the same size as mine, which is incredible.”

Jason says he literally grew up on Bryan Adams song. After all, Jason was born only three years before Adams’ first album came out, in 1980. In fact, Summer of ‘69 has occasionally been in Jason’s live set list.

Bryan had to do a little more homework to learn Jason’s music, but Bryan says he digs Jason’s music now, though singing She’s Country proved to be a bit of a challenge.
