Gary Allan to face accused 4-year stalker in court Wed.

Wow, Gary Allan (Watching Airplanes) has had more than his share of intensity in his personal life, right?
Now comes word that Gary has had an aggressive stalker for some four years. And he’ll face her in a courtroom for the first time Wednesday in Sumner County.
Police confirm a Katherine Walker was arrested after a May 2 incident at Allan’s Hendersonville home. Authorities wouldn’t release any details, saying it was an active investigation.
But I’m told there’s going to be surveillance video that shows the suspect acting in violent and bizarre ways.
Gary’s camp has declined comment, other than to confirm he will be in the courtroom Wednesday.

I live in Hendersonville, I heard she did something to Allan’s girlfriend. I think she’d been stalking him for a while like goin by his house and all that but apparently his girlfriend was at the house that day and she went nuts on her.

Thank God they are getting Kate off the streets. They should have done something about her years ago. Maybe then Kate would not have caused all the crazy BS that she has caused. I have had personal experience with this crazy woman. She targeted me and many of my friends for a number of years. Its about time she got what was coming to her.

I agree this is sad. How do all you know her? Was she that open about the fact that she stalked him? She must have mental problems. I feel sorry for him, his kids and his girlfriend. He has been through enough, I’m happy to hear he’s found someone in his life again but sad to hear a psycho is making them crazy!

I live in Hendersonville. She actually broke a window in his house, broke his car mirrors, and damaged the windshield wipers on his truck. She may have done more. She’s a big woman, like 6 ft something.

Yes I was unfortunate enough to have known her personally. She even tried to give me a lap dance. There is not enough alcohol in Tennessee to make me forget that. Its a good thing Crazy isn’t contagious.

Apprently you’re right Chandler, they didn’t specifically call her his friend, but according to the Tennessean there was a car belonging to another woman at his home and that’s what set her off. She tried to say Gary was stalking her… what a nut

Mr. Poultry man or what ever your name is…why don’t you take your s”*** some place else. I too knew her and she is a sick lady. You need to know what you are talking about before you post. I feel for you guys who truly felt the rath of Kate. Some more personal than others…she hurt a lot of people. Hang in there girls hopfully this will get her some help. For how long I don’t know.

Unfortuntetly, some of us older Gary fans have in fact ran into Kate the psycho at concerts or on his message boards….We have not had pleasant encounters with her and know what kind of damage she is capable of. This woman has been at it for years and obviously needs some serious help!

I had a run in with her at Louisville, KY riverfront show. She was booing Gary and screaming other things to him, so how can she go on TV and say she was there for him for support and she was a big fan? And Gary sending her emails? Most of Gary’s fans know he doesn’t even get on computers, he has said that in a few interviews.
When she was booing him at the KY concert, I turned and said a few choice words to her in hopes she would leave since it was ruining mine and everyone else’s time at the concert.
Then a band member pointed her out to security and then she took off. So for her to say he was stalking her, that makes me laugh!

OMG! I knew it was Kate!!! She is crazy! At a Gary concert a few years ago she told me she had a thing going on with Jake Kelly! Then she said she was getting ready to move to Hendersonville. She was going to sneak her kids out of the state without her soon to be ex-husband knowing. Come to think of it that was about 4 years ago at Cattle Annie’s. She made a huge batch of fudge for Gary and the band.

Just when you think it’s safe to venture outside up pops the nut job. Again. I feel sorry for her kids and her family (unless of course they are like her lol) and I fear for the safety of Gary, his kids, his family and band memebers.

You must be talking about Justina Crosslin. She was the model in that video. From what I’ve heard they broke up a long time ago. Don’t know who the new girlfriend is, but I feel sorry for her that she’s having to go through this. It must be very difficult. Love You Gary! Your fans will always be on your side.

This is insane!!!!! I hope they lock her up and throw away the key!!! Gary is my ALL TIME fav artist and he has had such a hard go of things the last 5 years. He wants to be happy and deserves to be, get her off the streets away from him and tell her to get her head out of the freaking clouds!!!!!

I beleive EVERYONE deserves privacy even those that we idolize. I also think that Kate is a sad, lonely woman who needs help. I used to talk to Kate years ago and I just hope that her daughters dont grow up to follow her mums footsteps… Gary we love you here in AUstralia and we are thinking of you.

wow! i just watched the news video of the court appearance by Gary & Kate-yikes! i can’t believe Gary has been so tolerant of her behavior/stalking for the past 3-4 years…& to think she has children-very scary. let’s hope she gets help & moves on, she’s very sick.

I also am one of the fan club members that is too familiar with what Kate was up to a few years back. She did nothing but cause trouble on his website board with her ranting, lies, name calling, etc. She really needs help and we all new it then. She’s been removed from the board many times but kept coming back as someone else.

I heard he was dating a girl names OLIVIA. She is on myspace and she said she is his girlfriend and that she is going to be living with him in nashville soon. She writes to a friend of mine and tells her all about her relationship with Gary. I think she lives in California..Has anyone heard this too? Maybe shes cuckoo?? I dont know. is that too private to post?

I go a ways back on the Gary boards too but haven’t posted there in years. In part because of all the hatred and name-calling, but not specifically from Kate - and in part just the plain idiocy there. She was never once mean to me but she DID drink way too much and obviously (I only witnessed it once - she was thrown out of a City Hall show Gary did and when we exchanged e-mails the next day she was incredibly remorseful and “normal” about it) this spins her out of control. I wish I had a way to get in touch with her now. Her e-mail bounced back to me long ago. In a weird way I really feel for her.
She was there for me through some times when I needed it. Though from what I know, I do feel for Gary more. Kate if you’re reading this, e-mail me if you remember it. I’m not posting it here.
Anyway, for whatever reason, I honestly don’t remember now, but Kate confided in me about a lot of things and though she is CLEARLY delusional in some respects - the side of things I heard is how much certain girls on the board hurt HER. And at the time the messages were there on the site to prove it (there and the “I Shouldn’t Talk When I Drink” Group that might be a tip-off of things to come!). I don’t think she made up the story about “Gary” sending her a message to meet up at a bar downtown. I think someone, maybe someone with a vendetta against her, was impersonating Gary with the intent of setting Kate off. It makes me sad that the possibility of that being the case apparently hasn’t even crossed anyone’s mind enough to investigate in the least. And gnsmom, how can you be so sure she didn’t date Jake??
She really does have a very sweet side, and she cares so much about those girls of hers. I hope they are OK and I hope she gets the help she needs. I really just hope this all gets resolved in the best way possible for everyone involved. -Melissa
