T-Pain and Taylor Swift to open CMT awards?

Looks like it’s true, but first things first: Ya gotta check out MTV’s pic of hip-hop’s T-Pain with Taylor Swift, reportedly taken at a rehearsal for Tuesday’s CMT Music Awards, at the Sommet Center.
CMT has officially confirmed that T-Pain (I’m Sprung, and the dude on SNL’s hilarious “I’m on a Boat” spoof music vid) will be at the awards show. But in what capacity?
An MTV story says he will collaborate with Taylor as part of some sort of opening segment.
And I’m told by a CMT insider (Hey, that’s the name of one of their shows!) that indeed it’s true: T-Pain and Taylor will make some sort of music together.
Nutty, eh? But don’t forget that these are the same awards that brought Snoop Dogg to Nashville. It’s all one big beautiful music world, baby.
