Tracy Lawrence is released from the hospital today

Doctors released Tracy Lawrence from Summit Medical Center in Hermitage after being treated there for a nasty respiratory infection for several days.

Tracy’s illness prompted him to cancel two shows this weekend.

He is headed home to recover.

“I am taking the time to get healthy and with your prayers and support, I’m confident that I’ll be back on the road to recovery in the coming days,” Tracy said in a statement.

“Thanks to all of you!”

His manager hopes to have Tracy on the road by next weekend.
