Popular radio host, Delilah, was in Nashville tonight to auction off her art pieces.
She auctioned off 25 original paintings and photographs at the Rymer Gallery to raise money for Point Hope, a non-profit organization she founded to be a voice for forgotten children.
Delilah said the location for her auction was an easy choise, telling Music City TV, “Nashville is the home of music and that’s what I’ve been doing for 35 years is playing the best music in the world and it’s a perfect fit. It’s where my heart is home.”
Tickets were $45 for the event and some really big names paid the price to check out her art!
Those walking the red carpet included Wynonna Judd, Jamie O’Neal, Big Kenny, Lonestar, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Ronnie Milsap, Kimberly Locke, Caitlin Crosby, and CNN’s Robin Meade, just to name a few!
They’re all big fans of Delilah’s radio show! Ronnie Milsap said, “I think she’s a real life line for a lot of people. she’s very spiritual and I love the stories that people call in and tell.”
Wynonna called her “a big Hallmark card of love”.
While telling us how much she enjoyed Delilah’s show, Kimberly Locke shared some of her upcoming projects with us. She’s currently working on a reality show for curvy women who can sing!
