Hey it’s intern Kerri!
Keith Urban left the building in a big way recently! He was performing the last leg of his North America tour at Buffalo’s HSBC Arena, when he jumped off stage, walked through the audience, and out the door into a cab!
The audience wasn’t sure what to think of the stunt, but once confetti fell and the band quit playing, they realized the show was over!
So what was up with Keith’s taxi cab exit? Urban says, “The yellow taxi is synonymous with New York City and I was trying to figure out how I could incorporate it into the show …I think I did it…not to mention that I beat the rush for cabs after the concert let out!”
He liked the exit so much, he did it again the next night in another show.
You can see video of the exit here!
