Turns out Charlie wasn’t even there at the Sommet Center; he was on a plane to Washington state for a concert last night and didn’t see the performance, his publicist says.

Not only that, Charlie didn’t even know it was going down; and he definitely wasn’t invited, either by the band or the CMA.

But, his publicist adds:

“When he heard, he was thrilled and honored that they would perform his song. He’s a fan of ZBB.”
