Can you believe it? Keith Urban gets first AMA trophy

Hard to to believe the guy has earned Grammy trophies, Country Music Association awards, Academy of Country Music trophies….

Yet, the American Music Award has eluded Keith Urban.

Until tonight.

He beat out Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker for country male in the AMAs, essentially the rival awards show to the Grammys.

Keith — who performed Kiss a Girl – gave shout-outs to daughter Sunday Rose and his wife, Nicole Kidman, who, with Kate Hudson, introduced a Black-Eyed Peas performance.
