Trace Adkins is going back to Persian Gulf to visit troops

Trace Adkins is taking a weeklong trip to visit US troops.

He’s going to perform, visit bases, sign autographs, pose for pictures and, of course, talk about whether Donald Trump’s hair is real.

OK, maybe not that last part.

Trace has always spent lots of time with soldiers during his career, and you might remember he had that song in 2005 called Arlington, a tribute to the fallen.

I do love the idea that soldiers overseas soon will be hearing Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.

Let freedom ring, baby!

In particular, Keith has a slipped disc, he said, which Keith’s publicist has confirmed to several media outlets.

The injury won’t affect his touring schedule, and a CMT reporter said Keith gave a lively show at the Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa in Kelseyville, Calif.

Keith even was playful, whipping out his digital camera so he could send a message back to his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their two-month-old baby, Sunday Rose.

“So she knows what I’ve been doing,” Keith said, according to CMT.com.

Jimmy Wayne broken heart leads to Patty Loveless duet

Yep, that Jimmy Wayne, he of Stay Gone fame, is back after a few years off with a brand new album, Do You Believe Me Now, and it’s out today.

Jimmy has always been a fave with the ladies, and in fact, a break-up with his girlfriend of five years lead to one of the new album’s best songs.

The song, No Good for Me, is about his ex, who was great on paper, but the two clashed “like crazy,” Jimmy told me.

“We got to the point where, like, you know, I’m no good for you, and you’re really not good for me. So we called it quits right there at the door,” he said.

That lead to the song, which lead to it becoming a duet with Patty Loveless.

Jimmy ended up seeing the ex at his gym, and he played the song for her. She remembered the conversation that sparked the song.

And, she might’ve been a little sad, a little melancholy — but that didn’t stop her from calling her mom and friends to go, “HEY! I’m a Jimmy Wayne song!”

“I’m fine. I did about have a heart attack when I found out I was dead. But I am feeling better than ever.”
