We won’t see Sunday Rose for a few months of Sundays

Many of you have asked about seeing Sunday Rose, the newborn baby of Keith Urban/Nicole Kidman.

Turns out that might not be any time soon, or at least it appears that pictures of the baby aren’t for sale.

There have been a few online stories that say Keith and Nicole are turning down pay-for-pics deals because they think such deals are “inappropriate.”

I asked Keith’s publicist about this and here’s the response:

“Many deal offers. All declined.”

Miley Cyrus has had her California coffee flown in weekly

Put the words “Miley Cyrus coffee” in Google Images, and you’ll see dozens of pics of Miley clutching an iced coffee from an L.A.-based chain called Coffee Bean.

To be specific, Miley likes a “mocha caramel ice blended,” which, by the way, runs $3.50-$4.85.

Miley apparently has had local movie caterers fly in all the ingredients from Coffee Bean headquarters each week.

Vogue: Nicole Kidman wept when she saw ultrasound

Vogue magazine is out with a big Nicole Kidman cover story and an amazing pictoral by Annie Liebowitz, and Nicole reveals she got weepy when she first saw an ultrasound of the baby she and Keith Urban are producing.

“When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying. I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime,” she says. “I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely.”

Nicole also seems to be enjoying her time here in Middle Tennessee.

“I’ve been in Tennessee, just sitting. We have a farm there, and I have an organic vegetable garden,” she told the mag.

“This is a path I’d not taken before. My mum’s always gardened. My sister gardens. And I’ve now conformed to the Kidman women’s hobby of gardening. And it is just a hobby. I’m not feeding the troops.

“There’s a softness to the Tennessee landscape that I just love. It’s very beautiful out there. We have deer and wild turkeys.”

Ted Nugent proves a colorful co-star for Toby Keith

Toby Keith met the press today to talk about his comedy action-adventure, Beer for My Horses, which comes out Aug. 8.

The movie co-stars comedian Rodney Carrington (who also co-wrote it), Willie Nelson, Tom Skerritt and rocker/hunter extraordinaire Ted Nugent.

Ted proved most interesting on the set. After one scene where Ted killed a guy with his power bow, he started walking back to his trailer, loaded bow in hand.

“Then a cotton-tail rabbit jumps us and croses the set. Pow! And he guts him a rabbit,” Toby says, laughing. “Right in front of everybody.”

Toby also said that he and Ted spent hours and hours inside a truck for some road-trip scenes.

“And uh,” Toby says, pausing, “Ted had a sour stomach. That’s all I’ll say.”

Ewww.

Gene Hackman to push his new book at Nashville library

Yes, that Gene Hackman, the actor dude from Hoosiers, Mississippi Burning, Uncommon Valor and more.

Seems he has written a Civil War novel called Escape from Andersonville with a dude named Daniel Lenihan, the other guy in the picture and a guy who has written two previous novels with Hackman.

Escape from Andersonville is about a Union officer who escaped from a Confederate prison and then returned to try to rescue his fellow Union soldiers. (Wonder how that’ll play in Nashville. I digress.)

Authors Gene and Daniel will be at the downtown main library, 615 Church St., at 6 p.m. June 25. The books will be sold there and autographed by the two, if you’d like.

Seen in the City: Keith, Nicole spotted at Starbuck’s

People.com reports that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were getting in some parent practice at a Franklin Starbucks.

The site says Nicole arrived through a back entrance, met Keith inside and the two started chatting it up with a little boy at the table next to them.

“Nicole was very friendly but Keith seemed ga-ga!” a mysterious unnamed “observer” tells the site.

The fun included peekaboo, waving and chatting with the tot.

No word if the small fry was hopped up on caffeine.

Keith Urban finds out what a baby ‘onesie’ is

You know, a onesie, those one-piece baby outfits that are sort of like jump suits, right?

As you know by now, Keith Urban was the big show-closing surprise guest Friday night at the CMA Music Festival’s LP Field bash. And Keith was kind enough to chat with reporters beforehand, with the hot topic: The baby he and Nicole Kidman are expecting in the fall.

One reporter shouted out: “Australian baby or Nashville baby?” Keith’s reply was a deflection that drew laughs. “Ha! I’m sorry, what was that question up there?” he said, pointing far away from the baby questioner.

Keith later allowed that he and Nicole have been getting lots of baby gifts, though he couldn’t quite come up with the word “onesie.”

After reporters did, Keith laughed, saying, “Onesie? Ha ha. I didn’t even know that.”

Keith said his favorite onesie so far is a black Johnny Cash tribute that reads, “I crawl the line.”

Things got a little more serious when Keith was asked what he might most be looking forward to.

“The unknown. I think for me, ya know. Just what is gonna come with that,” he said.

“And the love that’s gonna come with that. You know I’m just looking forward to that. Very much.”

Seen in the City: Nicole Kidman gets pampered

Looks like Nicole Kidman is spending some quality pregnancy time in Nashville.

Many of you thought she’d stay in Australia while her Keith Urban-inspired offspring prepares to make his/her entry into the world.

Nay! Brad spies spotted Nicole at Escape Day Spa on Highway 100 in Belle Meade (sniff sniff!) this very afternoon!

Nicole was in a short ivory robe, and some other clients speculated she was there for a facial.

But that’s not all for Keith/Nicole sightings. A few weeks ago, the happy couple was in a Brentwood restaurant. One male diner stared so much that eventually Nicole smiled and waved at him.

Keith and Nicole also were spotted at the Jon Stewart show earlier this month at the Ryman.

So……… ya think the baby will be born here in Nashville?
